Route Line
Seattle, WA, United States
Overview
Route Line operates a membership model that provides access to premium adventure vehicles such as Mercedes Sprinter vans and pickup campers. Members pay an initiation fee (reported between $3,000 and $6,000) and monthly dues (reported between $300 and $600), with limited per-use rates, a 10-day reservation allowance and discounted extra days. The company is partnering with Overland Van Project to build out a fleet of vans and with Scout for pickup campers. Route Line has raised $1.5 million in seed funding from Seattle-based VC Fuse and other investors, and it employs four people while hiring for roles across fleet and platform tech. It will use outside contractors for brand and marketing work. The company plans to grow its fleet in line with membership growth, will operate a wait list, and is considering Austin as a potential second market.
