The product also allows frequent flyers and experts to share tips about airports and specific flights. Routehappy launched its beta in March and released an iPhone app the following month. Since launch users have contributed more than 90,000 ratings, tips, photos and other content, with nearly 60% of user sentiment reported as positive. The company publishes derived insights such as airline seat-comfort rankings and plans to distribute subsets of its data via content deals with other flight search sites. Financially, Routehappy has secured seed funding to support product development and distribution efforts.
