Roviero is developing what it describes as a first Native Graph AI Processor aimed at the edge AI compute market. The processor is designed to deliver efficient, ultra-low power and high-performance compute for edge applications. Target use cases cited include cameras, IoT devices, mobile phones and computers to enable native intelligence on-device. The company says the architecture is optimized for graph workloads common in many AI tasks at the edge. Roviero was founded by industry veterans and serial entrepreneurs Deepak Mital, Sumat Mehra and Ravi Setty. It intends to use recent funding to expand its development efforts.
