RStor provides the Multicloud Platform™, which aggregates and automates compute resources from private data centers, public cloud providers, and supercomputing centers on a next generation networking fabric. Led by founder and CEO Giovanni Coglitore, the company serves enterprise performance computing customers and already has a team of more than 50 employees. RStor raised $45m in a Series A and intends to use the funds to grow its staff, accelerate product development, and build out customer and partner ecosystems. The Series A round was led by Cisco Investments. As part of the announcement, RStor partnered with Equinix to install the Multicloud Platform™ at Equinix IBX data centers. Its services are available today to Equinix customers in San Jose, Ashburn, and the United Kingdom, with expansion planned to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Brazil.
