Ruangguru is a Jakarta-based edtech startup focused on enabling students to understand school curricula and helping with exams, particularly standardized tests. Ruangguru serves over 15 million students, manages roughly 300,000 teachers, and offers services in more than 100 subject areas; about 80% of its students are outside Jakarta. The company works closely with all levels of the Indonesian government and is expanding operations in Vietnam. Ruangguru plans to use recent financing to expand its product offering across Indonesia and to accelerate regional growth. The platform emphasizes affordable pricing and broad distribution to increase access to high-quality educational material.
