Rubicon is an Albanian registered financial technology company that develops financial solutions and a payment processing network. Led by founder Dr Armand Brahaj, the company leverages proprietary technologies, intellectual property, innovative products and market intelligence to deliver optimized financial solutions. It will operate under the local trademark Pago. On approval of its application, Pago is expected to be licensed as an Electronic Money Institution by the Central Bank of Albania. Rubicon raised €450K to accelerate expansion in the country. Backers included Navy Yard Capital, APC Integrated and several angel investors.
