Ruffly builds a data-led software planning platform aimed at eliminating costly planning failures in software and IT projects. The platform is currently in public beta with customers worldwide providing feedback. Ruffly says companies using its platform can improve efficiency by 25%, equivalent to an extra day a week for each engineer. The product emphasises estimation, prediction, automation, and communication to reset expectations around forecasting ambiguous project deliveries. The founding team is led by Matt Farrugia, who sold his previous agency Bemo in 2020 and started Ruffly with ex-agency colleagues. The new funding will support growth of the team and further product development ahead of a full launch.
