Runfold Medical is a developer and manufacturer of medical devices based in Fareham, Hampshire, UK. It provides design, engineering, commercialization and regulatory services to OEMs to accelerate product development and time-to-market. Its product portfolio includes the Scopeguard endoscopic sheaths and, following a recent acquisition of Zimed Ltd., the AD Syringe Driver infusion pump. The company completed a £2.5m private placement to fund completion of the Scopeguard range and its extension into ear, nose and throat applications. Runfold will also take over development, production and marketing/sales of Zimed’s AD Syringe Driver for hospital, ambulatory and home use. Established in 2000 and led by CEO Clive Gunther, Runfold serves global clients including Coloplast, Vygon, Microsulis and Pall Corporation.
