Ruum is a Berlin-based SaaS project-management platform that links enterprise business processes with team productivity. The product was initially developed by a team of SAP employees and is a portfolio company of SAP.iO Venture Studio. The system integrates with SAP's core product portfolio and with collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Box. Ruum reports more than 30,000 users from 2,000 companies, including 200 nonprofits using the product free of charge, and six blue-chip enterprise customers including Beiersdorf AG. Its core team of 20 will continue to focus on the enterprise offering while the company moves into the global SMB market. Ruum raised €10m in funding from SAP SE to support these plans.
