RVAC Medicines is an mRNA platform company incubated by CBC and headquartered in Singapore, building a pipeline of novel mRNA vaccines and therapeutics targeting infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, and cancers. The company aims to develop a multivalent COVID vaccine and other mRNA innovations, with COVID candidates shown safe and efficacious in preclinical studies and planned to enter clinical studies in Q3 2022. RVAC leverages a strategic partnership with Acuitas Therapeutics for lipid nanoparticle delivery and is supported by a world-class scientific advisory board. Proceeds from its recent financing will fund preclinical and clinical development and the buildout of R&D and manufacturing capabilities. RVAC currently maintains R&D centers in Boston and Shanghai and plans new R&D and manufacturing facilities in Singapore and China, with initiatives expected to create over 100 jobs in Singapore. Since its inception in June 2021, the company has raised a total of US$140 million.
