Overview
Rx.Health is a Mount Sinai Health System spinoff that offers RxUniverse, an enterprise-wide digital medicine delivery system enabling physicians to prescribe evidence-based mobile health applications, multi-media education, wearables, online scheduling, remote monitoring, telemedicine and digital therapeutics at the point of care. The platform is live in several U.S. health systems, with additional implementations underway. Its Bulk Prescription™ feature lets care teams prescribe digital therapeutics and patient-centered care plans to entire cohorts with a single click and will initially target chronic diseases including respiratory, cardiovascular, and gastroenterological conditions. Patients with uncontrolled symptoms can receive immediate access to education, digital therapeutics, or remote monitoring via smartphone or email. Incoming patient data is integrated into electronic health records and care management dashboards to help providers streamline care processes while meeting quality and outcome metrics. The company is led by Chief Operating Officer Andy Pfau and intends to use recent funding to diversify its client base and advance its Bulk Prescription digital therapeutics and patient engagement tool.
