RxEye offers a web-based platform for procurement, quality assurance and exchange of x-ray images that lets physicians read images regardless of the hospital or radiology department where they were taken. The company will primarily focus on radiology, though the service also supports pathology, cardiology and ultrasound use cases. The €2m financing will be used to ramp up operations and launch the service in Sweden. Management has stated an intention to expand to England after the end of the year, citing a significant shortage of radiologists there. The service is positioned to enable cross-institutional image access and workflow in diagnostic specialties. Magnus Hök, President of RxEye, articulated the company's near-term operational and geographic rollout plans.
