SafeGuard is a safety-tech company led by CEO and founder Izhak Paz that prevents accidents in real time using an automated decision-making platform. The platform ingests data simultaneously from cameras, sensors, drones, statistical analysis, open data and big data to automate on-site decisions. Its algorithms identify on-site human error patterns, predict the probability of an accident and convert predictive data into proactive measures to enforce safer behavior. The system can intervene in real time—for example, locking a construction worker out of a hazardous area to prevent an imminent mistake. SafeGuard announced the creation of Otoos, a daughter company focused exclusively on the U.S. construction industry. The company raised $8M in Series A funding and intends to use the proceeds to expand operations and commercial reach.
