Salmon Software develops treasury management software that automates treasury processes and delivers data on debt, derivatives, foreign exchange, banking, cash management and payments. Its customer base includes CRH, Avolon, Dechra Pharmaceuticals, DP World and Ryanair. The company employs 30 people across Ireland and the Czech Republic; in 2020/21 it reported 12 people on the payroll including four directors. Salmon was incorporated in 1991. Management says the Melior investment will fund growth in the team, expanded support and sales infrastructure, and product enhancements including a superior cloud-hosted offering. Financially, Salmon Software reported a net profit of €870,000 in 2020/21 and had a net worth of €6.8m in March 2021, with balance sheet cash of €3.6m, period-end trade debtors of €1.1m and net current assets of €4m.
