Overview
Saltmine offers a cloud-based workplace design SaaS that centralizes workplace data—strategy, design, pricing and portfolio analytics—and provides immersive 3D renderings to help companies visualize and plan office changes. The platform combines and analyzes floor plans, project requirements, real-time behavioral data from utilization sensors, and employee feedback to identify design needs and optimize real estate portfolios. Saltmine saw strong growth in 2020, reporting 80% ARR growth, 350% year-over-year growth in monthly active users, a 95% customer retention rate, more than 35 customers (including PG&E, Snowflake and Workday), and 50 million square feet across 1,500 projects. The company plans to use new capital to hire and continue acquiring customers, with a specific focus on expanding its Global 2000 customer base and growing in APAC and Australia. Saltmine has about 125 employees in five offices across Asia, Europe and North America, expects to reach 170 employees by year-end, and aims to be profitable by the end of fiscal year 2021. The founder, Shagufta Anurag, has prior experience founding Space Matrix and Livspace, informing the company’s product and go-to-market approach.
