Samares develops integrated software and hardware solutions for the energy market, with a focus on managing renewable energy plants, active electric networks and improving energy efficiency. Founded in 2008 and based in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), the company also operates an R&D facility in Navacchio (Pisa). Samares serves photovoltaic market clients and has opened a new operating base in Lecce to better support those customers. The company plans to use new funding to develop new and existing products and to expand its marketing and sales activities. A relevant portion of the investments will be made in Puglia to support regional operations. Following the recent investment, ownership has been restructured to support these growth and product development plans.
