Samba Tech provides an online video platform, Samba Videos, that manages digital logistics from the camera to online distribution. The company is led by founder and CEO Gustavo Caetano. It recently launched Kast in the U.S., a free mobile video app in beta that adds audio and video features to team communication and collaboration. Kast is available for free on Android and iOS and is designed to convey emotion, tone and gestures that other communication forms can’t. Samba Tech raised funding to support bringing Kast to the U.S. market. The company reported a $3M (BRL R$10 million) financing announced in June 2016.
