SameDay Security, founded in 2009 and based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, develops electronic health monitoring and emergency response systems sold under the Electronic Caregiver and Addison Care brands. Its core product Addison Care is billed as a comprehensive virtual caregiver combining 3D augmented-reality interfaces, conversational speech, machine learning, visual sensing, mobile and biomechanical analytics, EHR integration, medication management and integrated hardware to monitor vitals, activity, and fall risk. The company says it serves thousands of residential users, works with hundreds of home care partners, assists clinicians and physical therapists, and employs over 70 people from its 20,000 sq ft headquarters and 4,500 sq ft warehouse. SameDay invested most of its capital over seven years in R&D, collaborating with New Mexico State University laboratories to screen thousands of patients and aging individuals. Financially, as of December 2018 the company completed Series D/private equity offerings totaling $35M via 506 Reg D offerings from accredited investors and family offices. In January 2019 the company planned to seek additional institutional and strategic investors to access credit revolvers and to use new capital to expand domestic sales and prepare international localization.
