Samsara Luggage makes travel products that combine technology, design and materials, integrating IoT and other smart features. The company recently launched global sales via Amazon and other online platforms worldwide. It secured $1.6M in financing, comprised of $1.1M in convertible loans from YA Global and $500K raised as equity from a private group of investors. Samsara intends to use the funds to expand sales and business development and to support R&D of additional advanced products. Planned product development will introduce new designs, materials and high-technology capabilities, including IoT features. Samsara merged with Darkstar Ventures, Inc. (OTC: DAVC) on May 10, 2019.
