Saol is a workplace wellbeing platform offering on-demand programmes and live classes that connect employees and employers. Its classes cover financial wellbeing, mental wellbeing, fitness and nutrition and are delivered by experienced professionals. The venture was motivated by workplace changes that followed the pandemic and aims to create a space for openness about employee wellbeing. Saol announced €200,000 in funding from Enterprise Ireland as part of an initial €400,000 seed round to finance international growth. Founders Derval O'Rourke and Greg O'Gorman plan to take Saol global and bring the app to a wider audience. To support expansion the company intends to hire 26 staff, with roles expected to be filled by 2026.
