Saqara is a bid management software platform that centralizes the procurement and tendering process for building and construction projects. Its platform is used by project managers, contracting authorities, general contractors and construction companies to manage tenders from initiation through contractual signing. In 2020 the company launched Chantier Privé par Saqara, a complementary digital marketplace that connects construction companies and project developers by geography, project size and type. The company has expanded into Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland and established a Tunisian strategic hub to accelerate its MENA footprint. Saqara reports having launched 4,500 projects on its platform since 2018, totaling over €18 billion of construction and infrastructure works; it employs 120 people, serves more than 500 clients, has 50,000 users and over 25,000 referenced contractors. It intends to use recent funding to support international growth in key markets such as the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and North Africa.
