Founded in 2016 by siblings Shazil and Bilal Mehkri, SastaTicket.pk operates an online travel booking platform serving domestic travelers in Pakistan. The platform lets users search for and pay for flights and hotels, and the company claims to be the largest travel-related online platform in Pakistan. Since launch it has seen GMV grow 125% year‑over‑year and orders increase 155% year‑over‑year, with over one million flight searches per month. The founders say the market opportunity in Pakistan is roughly $3 billion and only about 3% of travelers currently use online booking platforms. Management plans to use the new funding to further develop the product, scale services, and launch in another country in the region.
