Scale offers an API that combines high-quality human task work, smart tools, statistical confidence checks and machine learning to produce labeled training data. The platform supports human-in-the-loop labeling options such as semantic segmentation, image annotation and sensor fusion for LIDAR and RADAR. Its API is used across autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, virtual assistants and other AI solutions. The company counts customers including Lyft, General Motors (Cruise), Zoox, Nuro, Voyage, nuTonomy and Embark. Scale says it will use new funding to continue developing the platform and expand its business reach. To date the company has raised $22.7m in funding.
