Scaler began as InterviewBit and now operates a cohort-based upskilling platform that runs nine- to eleven-month courses for working professionals in subjects such as data science and machine learning. Curricula are designed with input from major tech employers including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, PayPal, Adobe, VMware and Uber. A typical course costs about $3,350, payable upfront or via loans from non-banking financial institutions, and students engage with three to four live lessons weekly plus assignments, TAs and mentors. About 15,000 individuals have enrolled and roughly 6,000 have completed the program; Scaler reports that 96% of those who sought new jobs landed roles at tier‑1 firms, and over 300 alumni have taken jobs at Amazon. The company says it is operationally profitable. Scaler plans to use fresh funds to expand into international markets including the U.S. and to pursue acquisitions to accelerate overseas growth.
