Scan.com currently claims around 30 employees across the U.K. and U.S. and reported it ramped to $1 million in annualized revenue in the first five weeks after its recent U.S. launch. Plans for growth include expanding to additional U.S. states, adding modalities such as DEXA scans, echocardiograms and mammograms (including early mammogram screenings targeting women under 50), and pursuing enterprise contracts with digital health providers and employee benefit platforms. Scan.com provides a booking portal and proprietary API to remove administrative friction and allow clinicians, consultants and digital health providers to refer patients for imaging. The platform integrates supply from over 200 imaging centres and claims to cut diagnostic wait times to about a week, roughly one-third of the NHS average. Scan.com plans to expand its diagnostics-as-a-service proposition in the U.S. and Germany and to rapidly scale its B2B platform in the U.K. It intends to introduce new products for medicolegal, health insurance and telehealth providers. The company has raised a £2.0 million seed round last year and has angel backers including Evelyn Bourke and Tom Blomfield.
