Overview
Founded in 2017 and based in Hyderabad, School of Accelerated Learning (SOAL) operates a hybrid boot camp called meta-learning that combines offline and online modes to teach emerging technologies and future work-skills. The company positions itself as India’s first hybrid boot camp for these areas and says its graduates work at firms including ShopClues, ClearTax, FactSet, ThoughtWorks, NowFloats and Schrocken. SOAL raised $300,000 from Astarc Ventures and several tech and startup leaders; the company has not disclosed the formal stage of the round. It plans to deploy the funds to open a second campus in Mumbai by December and to expand programmes in creative-tech such as digital marketing, artificial intelligence, blockchain and design. The venture also intends to launch tech-enabled learning spaces in metros and tier-2 cities. SOAL emphasizes industry-focused upskilling to help address gaps in tech talent as stacks evolve.
