Schwarzthal Tech is a London-based startup that uses AI to fight financial crime by aggregating publicly available information and building an individual’s network to support investigations. Its "Know Your Network" (KYN) methodology provides a multi-dimensional view of client connections to give financial institutions a holistic risk assessment. The AI-driven platform collects data in multiple languages from political exposure and sanctions lists, company registries, social media and other public sources to create visual network presentations. Users—investigators and compliance professionals—can assess potential customers’ connections to criminal or suspicious networks and perform in-depth assessments. The company plans to use the £150K Pre-Seed funding to further develop the platform, build its marketing team and file for an intellectual property patent on the KYN methodology.
