Scint-X AB develops and markets a patented structured scintillator technique for x-ray digital imaging detectors. The technology, developed at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, is designed to enhance detector performance and enable x-ray systems with high image quality and high resolution. The company is led by CEO Mikael Andersson. Scint-X secured SEK10m in growth capital from Conor Venture Partners and STING Capital. It intends to use the funds to build a stronger organization to internalize its scintillator business. The company also plans to build high-volume manufacturing capacity in Kista, Sweden.
