Overview
SCL Elements develops the CAN2GO building automation platform delivering wired and wireless controllers and a license-free web building management system for HVAC, lighting and metering. Its solutions are non-invasive, IP-compatible, support multiple wireless protocols and wired protocols including Modbus and CANbus, and can operate standalone or integrate with third‑party BACnet systems. CAN2GO is installed in retail, offices, schools, universities, factories, warehouses, heritage buildings, laboratories and government buildings across North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East. The company raised $2.15 million in a Series A led by The Westly Group with participation from Navitas Capital to scale production and business development. Management says the funding will accelerate expansion into the underserved light commercial and mid-market buildings segment, where most buildings are under 100,000 sq ft and very few currently have HVAC or lighting energy management systems. CEO Simon Leblond said the company aims to provide more energy savings at a lower cost and faster payback for commercial building owners.
