Sclak has developed an IoT digital system that enables users to manage and control electric locks on doors and gates via a smartphone app. The system supports digital keys that can be created on a phone, sent via e-mail or messages, customized, activated for limited periods, revoked or suspended. Activated users can open enabled doors and gates from the app; the device has an effective range of about 15 meters (50 feet), which can be reduced by obstacles. Users can customize access settings and invite guests through the platform; the app’s dashboard indicates when a device is connected and ready. The company said it will use new funding to continue developing its digital platform, expand abroad and sign strategic partnerships. Sclak was founded by Andrea Mastalli, Andrea Ferro and Daniele Poggi.
