Scope highlights that a recent study found 70% of hospitals experienced a significant security incident in the past 12 months and says the COVID-19–driven expansion of remote care has increased security vulnerabilities. Founded in 2019 by former Lookout Chief Security Officer Mike Murray, the company plans to use new funding to further develop its cybersecurity solutions for the complex healthcare ecosystem. Including the new funding, Scope has raised $37.7 million to date, according to Crunchbase.
