SCOPR.ai
Suite 100, Mercer Warehouse, 10130 – 103 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Overview
SCOPR.ai has built a mobile application that lets house-hunters upload documents such as energy performance certificates, electrical inspection reports, and property photos; its AI analyses the data and, within 15 minutes, returns a detailed estimate of necessary renovation costs, including energy upgrades and finishing work. Founded by construction project-manager Caroline Gysels and her mentor Vital Schreurs in Herk-de-Stad, the company aims to bring transparency to the residential real-estate market. The service is currently available only for houses in Flanders but will expand next year to cover apartments as well as properties in Brussels and Wallonia. The app is free to consumers, and SCOPR.ai monetises through advertising from local Belgian construction and renovation companies. Since its June launch, the application has already attracted thousands of Flemish users. The fresh capital will be used to deepen the firm’s data capabilities, incorporate additional parameters such as material prices and regional impacts, and support geographic expansion. Including this round, SCOPR.ai has secured a total of €1.275 million in external funding across two raises within ten months.
