Score & Secure Payment (SSP) builds 100% digital payment solutions that cover acceptance, acquisition, processing, transaction security and debt recovery through receivables purchase. Its platform uses AI to offer payments by direct debit and instant bank transfers, and aims to raise authorization rates, secure transactions and reduce merchants' payment costs and delays. SSP serves both in-store and online channels and targets sectors with high ticket sizes and fraud risk such as automotive, health, transport, travel, construction and services. The company reported €15 million of revenue in 2019 generated from 14,000 clients, and its corporate profile states it serves more than 10,000 merchant clients and secures over €4 billion of payments annually. SSP says it partners with tech companies and software publishers to integrate its payment solutions. Following the raise it plans to accelerate growth, strengthen its position in the health sector and pursue expansion in retail, transport and automotive.
