Scroll Kit is a web app that gives users an empty canvas to place text, pictures, and other elements and publish with one click. The product goes beyond typical WYSIWYG editors by letting users control nearly every pixel and freely rearrange page elements. So far users mainly create personal websites and web-based cards, and everything published is hosted by Scroll Kit. Features rolled out include custom domains, embeddable videos, and the ability for users to draw their own images. The service is currently offered essentially free, with the company planning to monetize by charging for additional features. The two-person founding team, Cody Brown and Kate Ray, is based in New York City and is hiring designers and engineers to extend the product.
