The company generates patches itself and leverages a large language model to help identify the commits that introduced fixes, which the team says enables scalability. Seal was founded by Itamar Sher (CEO), Lev Pachmanov (CTO) and Alon Navon (CPO); the team joined forces in summer 2022 after prior roles at Unit 8200, Cymmetria, Curv and PayPal. The product aims to reduce alert noise for developers and shift enterprise focus from triage to remediation. Financially, Seal announced a $7.4 million seed round led by Vertex Ventures Israel, with participation from Crew Capital, PayPal Alumni Fund and Cyber Club London.
