Searoutes provides a SaaS platform featuring an eco-calculator that computes the carbon footprint of a container along its journey. Its technology processes and transforms large freight datasets (historical ship positions, satellite data, engine specifications, schedules, weather data) into actionable emissions information. The company helps shippers report their carbon footprint and identify opportunities to reduce and manage greenhouse gas emissions. Searoutes was created in 2019 and is incubated and accelerated by ZEBOX, the CMA CGM Group’s international incubator. It reports roughly sixty key accounts, including Roquette and Ceva Logistics, and has an office in Hamburg in addition to Marseille. The startup intends to use recent funds to accelerate deployment of its solution to shippers, freight forwarders and related technology platforms.
