Seaver develops connected devices for the equestrian industry, beginning with a smart girth that measures heart and respiratory rate, calories, gait, and jumps. The girth provides owners and coaches with data to monitor horse health and performance. The company plans to develop additional products for the equestrian market in the future. Seaver intends to use new funding for R&D and to expand sales and marketing to reach customers outside France. It has previously raised €140,000 via crowdfunding and has received endorsements from riders including Olympic gold medallist Roger Yves Bost and Young Rider European Champion Marie Charlotte Fuss. Cofounder Zakaria Antar said the fundraising will let the team continue two years of work to revolutionize horse care and riding.
