SecurityMatters develops self-configurating and self-learning software that traces cyber-attacks and monitors critical information systems across industries. Its product targets sectors such as electrical energy, oil and gas, drinking water, pharmaceuticals and infrastructure. The company says its solution is superior at tracking cyber-threats due to its adaptive architecture. Founders Damiano Bolzoni, Sandro Etalle and Emmanuele Zambon launched the business in 2009 and the company is based in Eindhoven. With the new financing the team plans to expand international marketing, sales and support functions. Co-founder Sandro Etalle will leave the management team to become chairman of the newly formed board of directors.
