Overview

寻因生物 (Beijing) develops high-throughput single-cell multi-omics platforms and associated reagents and software. Its core products include the SeekOne® high-throughput single-cell library construction platform (SeekOne® MM) and the SeekPair® immune single-cell receptor–antigen matching platform, plus the SeekOne® Tools Online analysis platform. SeekOne® MM reagents reportedly reached international-leading performance on key metrics, require no dedicated hardware, simplify workflows, and have begun commercial use; the company launched a “SeekOne® human single-cell annotation baseline plan” at the end of 2020. The team aims to push single-cell sequencing and related data into clinical and drug-development applications and to broaden its single-cell R&D pipeline. After the A round, the company plans to accelerate product development, expand domestic commercial deployment in research, and promote clinical translation of its technologies. SeekGene (Beijing Xunyin Biotechnology Co., Ltd.) develops single-cell sorting and detection technologies with a focus on clinical translation. The company is commercializing single-cell sequencing reagent kits and is developing multi-modal single-cell detection technologies. It plans to combine high-throughput single-cell sequencing with adaptive cellular immunity approaches to monitor the immune system at the transcript and protein levels. SeekGene aims to apply these multidimensional single-cell methods to disease screening and drug discovery. The company was founded in 2015 and previously raised an angel round from ZhenFund in October 2018. CEO Li Zongwen said SeekGene will expand its single-cell R&D pipeline and continue advancing studies in real clinical settings.
