SelectQuote is a leading distributor of Medicare insurance policies and owner of a growing healthcare services platform. The company plans to continue growing its healthcare services business, enhance relationships with carrier partners, and provide choice and value for consumers. Management says the new funding will recapitalize the balance sheet, lower annual cash debt service, provide liquidity, and increase operating flexibility to fund growth initiatives. SelectQuote recently renegotiated its Senior Secured Credit Facility to secure a lower interest rate on the remaining balance and completed a 2024 receivables securitization. The company views this investment as a milestone toward refinancing the business and significantly deleveraging the balance sheet. SelectQuote is also appointing Bain Capital’s Chris Wolfe and Newlight’s Srdjan Vukovic to its board upon closing.
