Seneca Systems builds and sells Romulus, a constituent-management product that aggregates service requests from phone, email, text and social media so municipal teams can manage and respond. Romulus is offered on a month-to-month basis to local governments. The product is in use across 24 departments in 16 cities, including teams in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and Oakland. Seneca recently closed a $3.5 million seed round led by Initialized Capital. Later this quarter the company plans to launch a mobile app for field workers to document issues and request service fulfillments on the go. Down the road, Seneca intends to develop additional products geared toward local governments.
