Sensa builds a software platform that brings industrial context and data-quality controls to sensor and operational data for small and medium-sized industrial firms. The company emphasizes automated detection of sensor faults, data-quality signals and context enrichment so customers can trust inputs used for industrial AI. Founded in 2024, Sensa targets aquaculture, shipping and renewable energy customers and currently has four paying customers. The team includes six staff in Norway and six in Bangladesh via partner Cefalo. Management says the company’s near-term plan is to scale sales and expand customer deployment to drive adoption of its full platform. Financially, Sensa recently raised four million kroner in a round with Eviny Ventures, Tidligfasefond Vestland and Brothers, following a prior five million kroner injection from Startuplab and existing owners.
