Sense Finance is developing the Sense protocol to enable fixed interest rates and future yield trading across yield-bearing DeFi assets. The protocol splits assets into principal and yield components and packages them as "Zeros" and "Claims," allowing users to earn or borrow at fixed rates and trade against future yields. The company says this design addresses risks in existing yield trading solutions, including protocol insolvency and capital lock‑ups, and aims to be more user‑friendly. Leadership frames yield curves as underexplored but critical infrastructure for DeFi’s maturity and broader on‑chain financial products adoption. Sense Finance has raised $5.2 million in a seed funding round to support development. The protocol has not yet launched.
