Sentinel Labs builds real-time, host-based endpoint and server protection across Windows, Mac OS X and Android, with agents for iOS and Linux being developed for imminent release. Its core product is a Next Generation Endpoint Protection suite built on a patent-pending predictive execution modeling engine that detects suspicious intent and blocks zero-day and targeted attacks without relying on signatures. The company emphasizes low resource usage, typically running with fractions of a percent of CPU and memory on devices. Sentinel says it works with a number of Fortune 500 companies and aims to launch the full suite by the end of the year. The team includes security experts from Intel, McAfee, Check Point and elite units of the Israel Defense Forces. Prior to this round, Sentinel raised a $2.5M seed from Accel Partners, Data Collective (DCVC), Dan Scheinman, Granite Hill Capital Partners and UpWest Labs.
