Sentinel

Overview
Sentinel offers an app-based, evidence-backed platform designed to help healthcare, emergency services and defence personnel prevent, manage and recover from work-related trauma. Built in partnership with the University of Strathclyde’s Department of Psychological Sciences and Health, the product blends neuroscience insights, digital health best practices and trauma-informed design. More than 1,000 frontline workers participated in primary research and testing, ensuring features address real-world stressors. The app is already available through major app stores and is being piloted across several NHS Trusts to support staff-wellbeing initiatives. Sentinel’s mission is to deliver accessible, research-led mental-health resources that foster resilience and post-traumatic growth. With its recent £1.2 million capital injection, the company plans to expand its global reach and enhance its evidence-based toolset. No revenue or user figures beyond the pilot data have been disclosed.
