Servergy develops a new class of hyper-efficient, high-performance PowerLinux Cleantech Servers engineered with its patented Cleantech Architecture. Its initial product, the CTS-1000, is a PowerLinux server that uses under 130 watts at full load and targets I/O‑intensive workloads such as big data, cloud, caching and storage. The CTS-1000 is claimed to reduce energy, cooling, space, weight, water and carbon footprints by up to 80% while increasing I/O and compute density up to 16× versus traditional servers. Servergy announced the CTS-1000 at IBM Enterprise 2013 and is an IBM Business Partner. The company is accepting pre-orders with expected delivery beginning in late 4Q 2013 and states its servers are built in the USA. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Servergy says the new funding will support sales strategy, engineering completion and commercialization of the Cleantech Server line.
