SGN is a game publisher that built its reputation on distinctive iPhone titles that leverage touchscreen and tilt controls. Its hits include flight combat games F.A.S.T. and Skies of Glory, which push 3-D graphics on the iPhone. The company began as a Facebook game publisher but shifted much of its focus to the iPhone in 2008. SGN reports 15 million downloads on the iPhone and iPod Touch, reaching roughly one in three Apple mobile devices. It plans to expand to Android and tablet computer markets this year. SGN has raised $15 million in a funding round from Greylock Partners and others and has grown to more than 100 employees across Palo Alto, China and Argentina.
