Shadowbox Studios (formerly Blackhall Studios) develops, owns, and operates purpose-built, state-of-the-art soundstage facilities for film and media production. The company currently operates an 850,000 square foot Atlanta campus with nine soundstages and has active developments in Atlanta, London (Shinfield Studios) and Los Angeles (Santa Clarita). Upon completion of its announced projects, Shadowbox expects to operate 68 soundstages and over 4.2 million square feet of leasable area, positioning it among the largest operators in the sector. Shadowbox also provides on-lot production services, including lighting and grip rentals through its wholly owned subsidiary, Lamp Dock. The company recently rebranded from Blackhall Studios to Shadowbox as it moves into a new growth phase and expands its service offerings. Commonwealth Asset Management remains the majority shareholder and is represented on Shadowbox’s board.
