Shahaf PY grew out of a third-generation stone and marble family business and was developed within the parent company's R&D group. The company operates from Kibbutz Moran in the Galilee and maintains an active production floor with roughly 25 employees. Its systems use standard local concrete mixes rather than a proprietary material, and are designed to let construction sites print complex concrete elements independently. Shahaf PY targets both civilian construction (custom housing, rapid deployment infrastructure, disaster recovery) and defense use cases such as fortifications, supported by Ministry of Defense collaborations. A member of the founding team, Bar-Ziv, brings extensive defense manufacturing experience from Rafael. Financially, the company is at seed stage and has raised $2.5 million to date.
