Shareable Apps, founded in late 2013 by Adam Friedman, is a Melbourne-based app development and distribution platform powered by Adapptr™. Its platform allows users to build and share apps to all devices and across platforms without complex development or long lead cycles. The company serves retailers, publishers, broadcasters, government, retail chains, universities, agencies, community groups and charities. Shareable Apps already works with major brands including BBC, Universal Music Group and Clearasil. It has US offices in Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco. Financially, the company completed an AUD$3.5m Series A after raising $1.6m in seed funding in 2013.
